Budgetary works
Explorations executed for the account of budget funds are
concentrated in the most perspective directions mainly in regions of acting
and projected mining enterprises and in economically profitable regions. Heavy
types of works (driving of exploratory workings, drilling) are performed only
for the account of customers, acting plants and Joint Ventures. Considerable
funds and materials are invested to discovery of high-commercial minerals,
mainly gold, and also for increasing of materials resources as well as acting
enterprises (Kadamzhay and others). Certain funds are spending for the
solution of urgent social problems (water supply, prevention of disasters etc.)
At the present time prospecting are mainly performed for the account of
budgetary funds; exploration on the most promising areas are conducted till
commercial stage of exploration. Much attention has been given to the thematic
works, to analyses of previous works and scientific prognosis. The high
informativity with low cost explains priority of these above mention
directions. Prospecting works are being conducted for the account of budget
funds till the results attract attention of the mining enterprises or another
private companies to the investigated areas.
In spite of financial difficulties the well-drilling
equipment has been modernized. Using Western drilling equipment together with
local one as well as new modern technologies provided to make any
drill-directions, to get outing of corn to 90 - 100% and increase productivity
in 2-5 times.
The laboratory is equipet with new analytic
devices. Processing, analyses and conclusion of geological date has begun more often
accomplising on the base of computer programs.
These reorganizations pursue two
aims: to reduce
non-production expenditures and increasing effectioncy of geological
exploration and mining. Seriously changes in the general structure of SAGMR,
in the character of activity and functions duty allowed to it gradually
approaching to the stage of the State geological services of the developed
countries.
Geological investigations have only one the most important
aim – provide mineral resources for mining enterprises and another branch of
industries, as to the near as to the future perspective. Only State geological
service must determine reasonable balance of the geological explorations -
which solving tasks of the current period and which defining of long-term
perspective of mineral base developing and accordingly the branch of industry
using it. This service are appealed to discover a principle new or
non-traditional, but high-commercial, types of mineral materials, accordingly
to the macro-economic of Kyrgyz Republic with considering of it’s
intercontinental location, remotes from: sea harbors, transport ways etc.

projects of KGS
KGS takes a lot of activity for attracting to the mining
industry and geological exploration privet investment as well as foreign
companies. KGS are created about ten Join-Ventures with famous, well known
mining companies in the world (Canada USA, Australia, Great Britain and other
countries).

gathered for many years of investigations and it completely is opened for the
